Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2015 with gifts

Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2015 is a charming Christmas figure with lots of storytelling gathered in one motif. Here stands Santa in the middle of his reflections with a finger at his mouth, as if he is just taking a moment to think about the route, the gifts or perhaps the next stop on Christmas Eve's long journey. Around him lie colorful packages, and at his side can be seen both a cat with a Santa hat and a little helper, which emphasize the figure's playful and cozy Christmas universe.

The design is created by Sven Vestergaard, and the figure is part of the popular Santa of the Year series from Royal Copenhagen. The series began in 2001, and since then a new Santa has been produced every year. From 2021 onwards, a Mrs. Santa has also been added to the collection. This makes the series extra interesting for collectors who wish to follow the development year by year or find a specific edition that is missing from the row.

The 2015 edition in particular stands out with its thoughtful expression and its many small details. The red suit, the long white beard, the wrapped gifts and the cat with a Santa hat give the figure a warm and lively appearance that fits beautifully into the Christmas decorations. It works well alone on a shelf, on the windowsill or as part of a larger arrangement with other Christmas figures and Christmas decorations. For collectors of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figures, Santa of the Year is a series in great demand, and for many it is precisely the joy of finding the individual annual editions that makes the collection so lively.

As an older Christmas figure, this edition also has the special quality of bringing history and tradition into the home. It is a decorative figure that you can bring out year after year, and which can help create personal Christmas traditions. At the same time, it is a fine way to choose quality design with a long lifespan and give beautiful craftsmanship new life in a modern home.
