Royal Copenhagen Father Christmas of the Year 2021 figurine

Royal Copenhagen Father Christmas of the Year 2021 is an atmospheric Christmas figurine that gathers much of what many associate with classic Danish Christmas decorations in porcelain. The figurine is designed by Sven Vestergaard and shows Father Christmas in a red suit with a long white beard, a friendly smile, and small details that give the motif life and personality. In his hand he holds a spoon, and beside him he has both a sack and a teddy bear, while a small polar bear motif peeks out by the cape.

It is precisely the storytelling details that make this Royal Copenhagen figurine something special. The Father Christmas of the Year series has been produced since 2001, and each year a new Father Christmas has been added to the collection. From 2021 onward, the series was expanded so that a Mrs. Christmas was also introduced, which makes the 2021 edition particularly interesting for collectors of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurines. The series is very popular, and there is great demand for these Christmas figurines year after year.

As a porcelain figurine, Father Christmas of the Year 2021 works both as a standalone Christmas decoration and as a natural part of a larger collection. It fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, on a Christmas table, or as a permanent part of the December decorations, where it can be combined with other figurines from the series. For collectors, it can be an important edition to include, and for new buyers it is an obvious beginning to a cozy Christmas tradition.

There is also something special about choosing a figurine with history and collector value rather than mass-produced seasonal decorations. A Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurine like this is created to be brought out year after year and help create recognition, memories, and Christmas atmosphere in the home.
