Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2022 with cello

Royal Copenhagen Santa of the Year 2022 is an atmospheric Christmas figure, where Santa has sat down with his cello after the many chores of Christmas night. The motif exudes calm, music and classic Christmas coziness, and the figure captures the moment when the pace slows down, and there is time to enjoy the holiday. The red outfit, the light cello and the seated posture give the figure a lively and recognizable expression that fits beautifully into the Christmas decorations.

The figure is designed by Sven Vestergaard and is part of the popular Santa of the Year series from Royal Copenhagen. The series starts in 2001, and since then a new Santa has been produced every year, which has made the figures sought-after among collectors. From 2021 onwards, a Mrs. Santa has also been added to the collection, so the series has gained yet another collecting track for those who are fond of Royal Copenhagen's Christmas figures. Precisely for that reason, Santa of the Year 2022 is an obvious choice, whether you want to begin a collection, supplement an existing row or find the figure that is missing.

This Santa figure also works really well on its own. It can stand on a shelf, in the windowsill or as part of a larger Christmas display together with other porcelain figures, Christmas trees and plates. The motif with cello makes it especially suitable for those who love music, classic Christmas traditions and figures with a story. The annual Christmas figures from Royal Copenhagen are very popular, and there is great demand for these very collector's figures, because they combine Danish Christmas tradition, recognizable design and the joy of collecting year after year.

If a copy is marked with defects, according to the existing product text this is most often because part of the cello's endpin, also called spike, is missing. Otherwise, this is a figure that brings both history, collecting joy and Christmas music into the home year after year.
