Royal Copenhagen Winter Series 2010 snowman Father Max with Christmas tree

Royal Copenhagen Winter Series 2010 the snowman Father Max is a charming snowman figure that captures the busy and cozy atmosphere leading up to Christmas. Here, Father Max is seen with a black hat, spotted scarf, a small gift in his hand and a green Christmas tree by his side. The motif tells a little winter story full of Christmas preparations, recognizable warmth and classic Danish Christmas spirit.

The figure is designed by Henny Iversen and belongs to Royal Copenhagen's popular Winter Series with snowman figures. According to the series' story, the garden's snowmen come to life at night while the children sleep, and in 2010 the little snowman family is especially busy getting ready for the holiday. Father Max takes care of the Christmas tree, while the rest of the family helps with Christmas' many other chores. The snowman figures from 2010 are the last in the series, which makes them extra interesting for collectors of Royal Copenhagen Christmas figures and winter figures.

The fine underglaze decoration gives the figure a soft and lively expression, where the small details in the face, scarf, gift and fir tree help create personality. It is a figure that fits beautifully into the Christmas decorations, on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a complete arrangement with other figures from the Royal Copenhagen Winter Series. It is also ideal as a gift for someone who loves Danish design, Christmas figures and collectibles with a story.

Older figures with a history have a special ability to create a sense of presence in the home, and this snowman figure is a good example of how classic design and fine craftsmanship can still bring joy year after year. Choosing a figure with a history is at the same time a beautiful way to give quality design new life in a modern interior.
