Royal Copenhagen Winter Series 2010 snowman Mother Sophie figure

Royal Copenhagen Winter Series 2010 snowman Mother Sophie is a charming porcelain figure that captures the warm story of Christmas's busy preparations in the snowman family. The figure is designed by Henny Iversen and marks an atmospheric point in the popular Winter Series, where each figure contributes its own little winter adventure.

Mother Sophie is shown with a basket in one hand and a small orange decorative piece in the other, ready to arrange Christmas gifts and coziness in the winter landscape. The white snowman motif is combined with fine color details, including a light scarf with dots and a braided hat with green and orange details. The basket is filled with small elements that emphasize the figure's Christmas-like and homely expression. This gives the figure life and personality, whether it stands alone or together with the other snowmen from the series.

As a snowman figure from Royal Copenhagen, Mother Sophie has both collector interest and decorative value. The underglaze decoration and Henny Iversen's assured design language give the figure a soft and friendly expression that fits beautifully into winter decorations, Christmas arrangements, and classic Danish interior design. The figure is also ideal for those who collect Royal Copenhagen figures, Winter Series, or snowmen with year markings.

As the 2010 figures are the last in the series, Mother Sophie also holds a special place for collectors who wish to complete the story of the little snowman family. Older design objects like this are created to be brought out year after year, and they bring both history, nostalgia, and personality into the home. It is precisely the type of applied art and collector's item that continues to create joy in modern interior design and at the same time is a beautiful choice for those who appreciate quality with a long lifespan.
