Royal Copenhagen Winter Series 2009 snowman Mother Sophie

Royal Copenhagen Winter Series 2009 snowman Mother Sophie is a charming porcelain figurine that captures the warm and cosy atmosphere of the Christmas preparations. The figurine depicts Mother Sophie from the little snowman family and stands with a decorative straw wreath in her hands, ready to decorate. This gives the figurine a lively expression and makes it an atmospheric feature in the winter and Christmas decorations.

The design was created by Henny Iversen, who with confident lines and fine details has given the figurine personality. In the pictures, the white snowman is seen with a soft smile, small black buttons, a light hat with relief pattern and flower detail as well as a wreath with red bows and green details. The decorative underglaze emphasises the figurine's calm, classic expression and fits well with Royal Copenhagen's well-known sense of form and storytelling.

As a snowman figurine, Mother Sophie is ideal for you who collect Royal Copenhagen Winter Series, or who want Christmas decorations in porcelain with a nostalgic touch. The figurine can stand alone as a small winter story or be combined with the other figurines in the snowman family to create a lovely whole on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of the table decoration at Christmas time.

Older design figurines like this have a special ability to bring history and personality into the home. Choosing porcelain with character and storytelling is also a way of giving beautiful craftsmanship new life. Mother Sophie is therefore an ideal choice for the collector, for the Christmas-loving interior, or as a gift for someone who loves Danish design and figurines with seasonal atmosphere.
