Royal Copenhagen Else building snowman figurine no. 006

Else building snowman is a charming Royal Copenhagen figurine that captures the quiet joy of winter in porcelain. The motif shows Else close to her snowman, while the family's little dog eagerly follows along. The smiling snowman with orange nose and green scarf gives the figurine a lively and recognizable winter expression, while Else's blue winter clothing creates the classic colour harmony that many collectors associate with the well-known Else and Jens figurines.

The figurine is designed by Ingeborg Plockross-Irminger and belongs to one of Royal Copenhagen's most beloved figurine series. Here, the everyday moment is elevated into something lasting: a child, a dog and a snowman gathered in a story of play, cold and presence. It is precisely this narrative quality that makes the porcelain figurine ideal both for collectors of Royal Copenhagen and for you who appreciate classic Danish figurine art with a motif from the world of childhood.

The porcelain figurine is made in underglaze, which emphasizes the series' soft colours and calm surface. It is a figurine you can keep looking at, because the small details give the motif personality: Else, shaping the snowman, the dog beside her and the little hat, which lies ready. The figurine works beautifully as winter decoration, as part of a collection of children's figurines or together with other figurines from the Else and Jens series.

This Royal Copenhagen figurine also fits nicely into a personal interior, where classic porcelain is welcome to create warmth and history. As a gift idea, it is ideal for the collector, for the one who appreciates Danish design, or for someone who wants winter atmosphere with a motif that evokes memories of snowfall, play and childhood.
