Royal Copenhagen Nativity Scene Mary figurine no. 022

Mary figurine no. 022 from Royal Copenhagen is a classic part of a nativity scene and an atmospheric collector's item for Christmas decorations. The figurine shows Mary standing in prayer with folded hands, a slightly bowed head and a calm, gentle expression, which emphasizes the peaceful story of Christmas Eve. The light blue cloak over the white robe gives the figurine the familiar, traditional expression that many associate with a beautiful Christmas motif in porcelain.

As part of a nativity scene, this Mary figurine naturally fits together with the baby Jesus, Joseph and the other figurines in the display, but it can also stand alone as a discreet Christmas figurine on the windowsill, on a shelf or as part of a quiet December decoration. The motif makes it ideal for those who collect Royal Copenhagen figurines, or who want classic Danish Christmas decorations with history and presence.

Royal Copenhagen is known for porcelain figurines, where form language and glaze work together to create life in the motif. Here the expression is simple and harmonious, and the figurine's praying posture gives it a special calm that suits both traditional and more modern Christmas displays. It is also a fine gift idea for collectors of Christmas figurines, porcelain figurines and nativity scenes.

Older figurines like this have a special charm because they are created to be brought out year after year. Choosing a figurine with history is at the same time a beautiful way to preserve good craftsmanship and give classic porcelain new life in the home. This makes Mary from Royal Copenhagen more than just Christmas decoration - it is a figurine that can become a permanent part of the family's Christmas traditions.
