Royal Copenhagen Balthazar figurine no. 024 - nativity scene, the three wise men

Balthazar from Royal Copenhagen is an atmospheric porcelain figurine from the nativity scene with the three wise men. The figurine depicts one of the three wise men in a bent, reverent posture, carrying his gift forward. This gives the figurine a calm and contemplative expression that fits beautifully into the story of Christmas's classic nativity scene.

The blue robe, the light head covering, and the cloak with golden details create a fine contrast and make the figurine easily recognizable in the display. Balthazar stands with a slightly forward-leaning posture and holds his gift close to his body, which emphasizes the solemn character of the motif. This very type of figurine appeals both to collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and to those who want a traditional and decorative nativity scene with character and history.

As part of Royal Copenhagen's nativity scene, Balthazar can be used alone as a Christmas figurine or combined with the other figurines in the series to create a complete Christmas crib. The figurine fits nicely into both classic Christmas decorations and a more simple interior, where porcelain figurines with storytelling and artisanal substance are allowed to stand out. It is also an obvious gift for collectors, for those who are fond of Christmas traditions, or as a special feature in the decorations of the month of December.

Royal Copenhagen is known for porcelain with a strong Danish design tradition, and this figurine precisely combines storytelling, decoration, and classic design language. Balthazar figurine no. 024 is therefore a fine choice for anyone seeking a Royal Copenhagen Christmas figurine, a figurine with the three wise men, or a porcelain figurine for a nativity scene.
