Royal Copenhagen Clara & Peter decorate nativity scene figure no. 294

Clara & Peter decorate nativity scene is an atmospheric Royal Copenhagen Christmas figure that captures a calm and recognizable moment from the preparations for Christmas. Two children are gathered around the family's nativity scene at a round table, where the little Christmas scene with stable, reddish-brown roof and golden star forms the figure's natural focal point. The motif exudes presence, tradition and the special anticipation that belongs to Christmas.

The figure is made of porcelain and shows Clara seated on a chair with a small figure in her hand, while Peter stands by the table with a sheep. The soft shapes and the fine colored details in, among other things, light blue, pink, brown and golden tones give the figure life and narrative. One clearly senses that the scene is about more than Christmas decoration alone - it is also about family, play and the small rituals that make the holiday personal.

The design is by Sven Westergaard, and figure no. 294 has the classic narrative quality that many collectors and Christmas enthusiasts associate with Royal Copenhagen figures. It is a porcelain figure that appeals both to the collector of Danish Christmas figures and to you who want a decorative Christmas figure with warmth and history. The figure fits beautifully among other Christmas decorations, in a display cabinet collection or as part of an arrangement with nativity scenes and other nostalgic Christmas motifs.

Older porcelain figures like this have a special ability to add soul to the home. They are created to last and can gain new life year after year as part of Christmas's fixed traditions. Precisely for that reason, vintage Christmas decorations and porcelain figures are an obvious choice for you who appreciate good craftsmanship, Danish design history and the joy of preserving beautiful things through generations.
