Royal Copenhagen snowman grandmother with muff no. 767

This Royal Copenhagen snowman figure depicts a grandmother with a muff and contains precisely the gentle winter atmosphere that makes small porcelain figures so charming to collect and decorate with. The figure is shaped as a snowman with a calm face, small red nose, glasses, light hat and a striped scarf, while the soft muff in front gives the motif a homely and nostalgic touch.

Sven Vestergaard has created a winter figure with personality and warmth, where the simple design language meets fine details. The glossy porcelain surface and the underglaze decoration give the figure the classic Royal Copenhagen expression that many collectors and design enthusiasts are fond of. The grandmother motif adds a story of winter, coziness and generations to the series, and the figure fits beautifully into a collection of snowmen or as a small seasonal figure on the windowsill, on a shelf or as part of the Christmas decorations.

As an older porcelain figure, this model also has a special value for those of you who appreciate Danish design with history. Choosing vintage porcelain is a fine way to give good craftsmanship new life, while at the same time giving the home a more personal expression. The figure can stand alone as a small wintry eye-catcher or be combined with other Royal Copenhagen winter figures and snowmen to create an atmospherically arranged winter landscape.

This snowman figure is also an obvious gift idea for collectors of Royal Copenhagen figures, for those of you who love winter decorations with character, or for a recipient who is fond of classic Danish porcelain. The motif with grandmother and muff makes it easy to recognize and clearly distinguishes it from other figures in the series.
