Royal Copenhagen snowman with teddy bear winter figurine no. 020

Royal Copenhagen winter figurine no. 020 is a charming snowman figurine that combines winter atmosphere, humor and soft details in a small porcelain motif with great personality. The figurine depicts a white snowman with a pink bonnet, bow and pacifier, while a brown teddy bear sits close in front. This gives the figurine a playful and almost fairy-tale-like expression, which stands out among classic winter figurines and makes it ideal for collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and snowman figurines.

Allan Therkelsen is behind the design, and the motif is characterized by the narrative approach that makes small porcelain figurines so lively in the interior. The round snowman body, the simple facial features and the fine color scheme with white, pink and warm brown create a calm and cozy whole. The teddy bear in front adds extra warmth to the figurine and makes it particularly suitable as winter decoration, Christmas figurine or gift for someone who loves porcelain figurines with a gentle and imaginative expression.

As a porcelain figurine in underglaze, it has the smooth, glossy surface and the precise decoration that many associate with Royal Copenhagen. The figurine is decorative both on its own and together with other winter figurines, Christmas figurines or snowmen in porcelain. It fits nicely on a shelf, in a display cabinet, on a windowsill or as part of a personal collection, where small details and good design are allowed to come into their own.

Older and used porcelain figurines like this one also have a special value in a modern home. They bring history, collector's joy and character into the interior and are at the same time a sustainable choice when beautiful craftsmanship is allowed to live on and create joy in new surroundings. It is exactly the type of figurine that one brings out year after year, because it both brings smiles and emphasizes the quiet coziness that belongs to winter.
