Bing & Grøndahl girl with tambourine no. 1578 Dahl Jensen

This Bing & Grøndahl figure of a girl with tambourine no. 1578 has a calm, almost floating expression, which makes it easy to notice in the decor. The figure shows a young woman bent slightly forward with the tambourine in her hand, as if she is caught in the middle of a movement. The long dress flows all the way down around the feet in soft, undulating folds, and it is precisely this that gives the figure its special life and rhythm.

The design is attributed to Dahl Jensen, and the slender posture, the long lines and the poetic formal language suit the classic Danish porcelain figure beautifully. The hair is gathered at the nape and appears in a light pink tone, while the dress is kept in white. The combination of the simple color expression and the dynamic form makes the figure both decorative and full of character. Under the figure's foot, Dahl Jensen's name is inscribed, which is also mentioned in the existing product text.

As a porcelain figure from Bing & Grøndahl, it contains both craftsmanship, design history and collector interest. It suits you well if you are fond of vintage figures, classic female figures and Danish porcelain with a stylish, figurative expression. The figure can stand alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a chest of drawers, where its tall, elegant silhouette has room to come into its own.

Older porcelain figures like this have a special ability to add soul and personality to the home. They are created to last a long time, and precisely for that reason they are also a sustainable choice for you who would like to decorate with quality objects with history. A Bing & Grøndahl figure like this is at the same time an obvious gift idea for collectors or for the one who appreciates Danish design and porcelain with a classic expression.
