Bing & Grøndahl female guitar player figurine no. 1021416 / 1684

This Bing & Grøndahl figurine depicts a woman with a guitar, captured in a calm and musical moment. She sits absorbed with the instrument in her hands, and the entire expression of the figurine exudes concentration, presence, and a quiet atmosphere. The long light dress, the soft folds, and the light green shawl give the figurine a light and harmonious expression, which makes it particularly decorative in the interior.

The motif has a classic and poetic character, where music, female figure, and movement merge in the fine formal language of the porcelain. The guitar player is executed with a beautiful balance between the simple and the detailed, from the slightly bowed head position to the placement of the hands on the guitar. It is precisely this type of narrative porcelain figurine that has made Bing & Grøndahl's figurines beloved among collectors and those who appreciate Danish craftsmanship.

The figurine is designed by Ingeborg Plockross-Irminger and belongs to the series Scandinavian women. This is felt in the expression, where the figurine combines grace, everyday human portrayal, and classical figurative art. It is made of porcelain with underglaze, which supports the gentle nuances and the calm overall impression.

As a vintage porcelain figurine, this guitar player contains both history and lasting value. Older figurines like this add personality and soul to the home and are at the same time a sustainable choice for you who wish to decorate with quality objects created to last through generations. It fits beautifully in a collection of Bing & Grøndahl figurines, among other music figurines or as a standalone eye-catcher on a shelf, chest of drawers, or display cabinet.

For collectors of Danish porcelain figurines and for you who are looking for a figurine with a musical motif, female figure, or classic Bing & Grøndahl design, this is a charming and characterful model.
