Bing & Grøndahl Victor figurine no. 1713 or 418 seated boy

Victor is a classic Bing & Grøndahl porcelain figurine that captures a quiet and recognizable everyday moment. The figurine depicts a seated boy drinking from a cup, slightly bent forward and completely absorbed in his little break. The motif has the calm, intimate narrative that makes children's figurines from Bing & Grøndahl so beloved among collectors and those who appreciate Danish porcelain art with human warmth.

The boy sits on a small bench with the cup raised in front of his face. The simple pose and soft lines bring the figurine to life, while the subdued colors in white, blue, and shades of brown emphasize the classic expression. It is precisely this type of porcelain figurine that adds personality to a shelf, display cabinet, or chest of drawers and a fine sense of Danish design tradition.

The figurine is designed by Ingeborg Plockross-Irminger, who is known for her sensitive and natural depictions of children. Here this is clearly seen in the way the child is modeled, with focus on both movement, posture, and the quiet presence in the motif. The figurine is made in porcelain and underglaze, which helps give the surface depth and the familiar, harmonious Bing & Grøndahl expression.

For collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figurines and children's figurines, Victor figurine no. 1713 or 418 is a charming choice. At the same time, it is a figurine that also fits beautifully into a modern home, where older porcelain figurines with history and soul are given new life. Vintage porcelain like this is a sustainable choice and a way to preserve fine craftsmanship that can continue to create joy through generations.

It is ideal as a gift for a collector, for someone who appreciates classic boy figurines, or as a personal feature in the décor together with other porcelain figurines from Bing & Grøndahl.
