Bing & Grøndahl Seagull Finch figurine no. 1707 by Dahl-Jensen

Bing & Grøndahl Seagull Finch figurine no. 1707 is a charming porcelain figurine with a calm and natural expression. The small bird is modelled with a rounded, soft form and a fine posture that gives the figurine life and presence. The light brownish shades over the white base create a subdued and harmonious colour effect that fits beautifully into both classic and modern homes.

The figurine is designed by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, whose animal figurines are appreciated for their assured sense of form and ability to capture the character of the animals. Here, the seagull finch is rendered in a simple and poetic expression, where the discreet details in the plumage and the smooth glaze emphasize the special quality of the porcelain. The delicate underglaze gives the figurine depth and a lively play across the surface.

As a bird figurine from Bing & Grøndahl, this model appeals both to collectors of Danish porcelain and to those who would like to add a small piece of Danish design history to the interior. It is ideal on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of an arrangement with other animal figurines, art objects, or ceramics in calm natural tones. Older porcelain figurines like this one in particular have a special ability to add personality to the home, and at the same time they are a beautiful choice for those who appreciate fine craftsmanship with history.

Seagull Finch no. 1707 is also a lovely gift idea for collectors, bird lovers, or anyone who is fond of classic porcelain figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. It is a figurine that appears discreet at first glance, but which wins one over upon closer acquaintance with its calm appearance and carefully crafted form.
