English Setter Bing & Grøndahl dog figurine no. 2062

English Setter from Bing & Grøndahl is a porcelain figurine with a lively and lifelike expression, making it ideal for both dog lovers and collectors of Danish porcelain. The figurine shows the characteristic setter in an attentive, slightly forward-moving stance with raised paw, slender body and long tail, which gives the motif movement and presence. It is precisely the type of dog figurine many look for when they want classic Bing & Grøndahl porcelain with an animal motif.

The underglaze decoration emphasizes the figurine's soft surface and the finely modeled details in fur, head and legs. The body's markings and the focused posture give the figurine a realistic character that suits the breed's elegant hunting dog profile. As a porcelain figurine, it combines craftsmanship precision with the calm, timeless style that has made Bing & Grøndahl dog figurines sought after through generations.

A figurine like this fits beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection of animal figurines in porcelain. It is also an obvious gift for an owner of an English Setter, for the hunter or for the collector who appreciates Danish dog figurines with character and history. Older porcelain figurines like this bring personality into the interior and are at the same time a fine choice for you who appreciate quality objects that can gain new life in a modern home.

Bing & Grøndahl is known for porcelain figurines with a great sense of form and animal anatomy, and model no. 2062 is a good example of exactly that. Here you get a classic dog figurine, where the breed's alert posture and harmonious proportions are at the center.
