Bing & Grøndahl seated elephant figurine 2573 15 cm

This seated elephant from Bing & Grøndahl is a porcelain figurine with a calm and present expression that makes it easy to notice in the interior. The figurine is modelled with soft, rounded shapes and a natural heaviness in the body, while the slightly bent trunk and the folded legs give the motif life and personality. The grey underglaze highlights the elephant's surface and shapes in a fine and subdued way.

Bing & Grøndahl is known for porcelain figurines with character and confident design, and figurine no. 2573 is a good example of exactly that. Here the elephant is depicted in a seated position, which gives the figurine a peaceful and thoughtful expression. The discreet details around the eyes, ears and trunk emphasize the lifelike motif, without the figurine losing the simple and classic character that makes Danish porcelain design so useful in the home.

An elephant figurine like this fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection of Bing & Grøndahl animal figurines. It also works well as a gift for collectors or for you who are fond of porcelain figurines with animals as a motif. Older porcelain with history adds soul and personality to the home, and at the same time it is a joy to give good craftsmanship new life in a modern interior.

The calm grey colour makes the figurine easy to combine with both classic and Nordic home styles. It can stand alone as a decorative eye-catcher or together with other animal figurines, where it adds warmth, weight and a timeless expression to the collection.
