Søholm Great Statesmen Josip Broz Tito piggy bank no. 3, 1981

This Søholm piggy bank from the Great Statesmen series combines portrait art, ceramics and collector interest in one distinctive object. The figure depicts Josip Broz Tito as a bust with characteristic glasses, defined facial features and short, wavy hair. The light ceramic and the calm, matte surface give the expression weight and make the piggy bank decorative both as a collector's figure and as an unusual feature in the interior.

On the back, the coin slot is discreetly placed in the hair, so the shape retains its sculptural expression. At the bottom, the visible text "Josip Broz Tito" and the years "1892 - 1980" appear, which makes the model easily recognizable and gives the figure a clear historical identity. It is precisely the combination of portrait figure and functional piggy bank that makes this model interesting for collectors of Søholm ceramics, political figures and special Danish design objects.

As a vintage ceramic figure, this piggy bank also contains the special charm that comes with older decorative art created to last. It is the type of object that brings personality into the home and at the same time is a sustainable choice for you who prefer quality and history over new production. It fits nicely on a shelf, in a display cabinet, in the office or as part of a collection with figures, political memorabilia or ceramic portraits.

For collectors, the item number and the year are important details, and this model is therefore ideal to search for as both a Søholm piggy bank, Josip Broz Tito figure and Great Statesmen no. 3. A characterful ceramic figure with a historical motif, clear design and a function that gives it more than merely decorative value.
