Curly Borra troll figurine from Bornholm - Curly Bølle's sister

Curly Borra is a charming troll figurine from Bornholm and part of the story of the well-known Bornholm trolls. The figurine depicts Curly Bølle's troll sister and has a friendly, lively expression that makes it a cozy feature in the home. With her large eyes, curly hair, pronounced ears and small boots, she has an expression that immediately brings to mind fairy tales, cliffs, troll stories and Bornholm folklore.

The glazed ceramic figurine is made in light shades with brown details that highlight shape and modeling. From the front, she is seen standing with her hands gathered in front of her body, while the back shows the simple, soft design of the dress. This gives the figurine character from every angle and makes it suitable both as a collector's figurine and as a decorative troll figurine on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a personal arrangement with Danish applied art and figurines with a local historical character.

The Curly Bølle universe holds a special place for many, and that is precisely why Curly Borra is also an obvious choice for collectors of Bornholm figurines, trolls and Danish ceramics. Older figurines with history and a recognizable motif add personality and soul to the home, while at the same time being a fine example of the joy of preserving and using things that are made to last. A figurine like this goes well together with other troll figurines in the series, but also stands strongly on its own as a small piece of Bornholm storytelling tradition.

As a gift, it is an obvious choice for anyone who loves Bornholm, trolls, ceramic figurines or nostalgic Danish design with a popular and fairy-tale-like expression. Curly Borra is, in short, a figurine that combines collector's value, local identity and decorative charm in one small motif.
