Michael Andersen & Søn roe deer figure no. 5963 ceramic 15 cm

Michael Andersen & Søn figure no. 5963 depicts a lying roe deer in a calm and natural pose. The figure has a fine, understated expression, where the slightly turned head and the upright ears give the motif life and presence. It is an animal figure that fits beautifully into an interior with an appreciation for Danish ceramics, nature motifs and classic decorative arts.

The brown mottled glaze emphasizes the roe deer's organic form and gives the surface warmth and depth. In the pictures, a soft modeling of body, legs and head can be seen, which makes the figure pleasant to look at from several angles. The darker areas at the hooves and hindquarters create a fine contrast and highlight the figure's shape in a simple and effective way.

As a vintage ceramic figure, this model has both decorative value and the special charm that older Danish ceramics often possess. It brings the tranquillity of nature into the home and works beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a bookcase or on a side table, but can also be combined with other animal figures, stoneware or ceramic objects in Nordic shades. For collectors of Michael Andersen & Søn, figure number 5963 is at the same time an important detail that makes the model easy to identify.

A roe deer like this is also an obvious gift idea for someone who is fond of Danish design, ceramics with a history or animal figures with a subdued and timeless expression. Here you get a figure with personality and soul, which still has a natural place in the modern home.
