Michael Andersen & Søn rabbit figurine no. 4435, 10 cm

Michael Andersen & Søn rabbit figurine no. 4435 is a small ceramic figurine with a calm and cohesive expression. The rabbit is modelled in a lying, curled-up posture, where the rounded body, the defined cheeks and the long ears give the figurine a fine balance between naturalism and simple, decorative form. The dark glaze emphasizes the silhouette and lets the light play softly across the surface.

It is exactly the type of animal figurine that makes older Danish ceramics relevant in interior decor even today. The figurine has a calmness and weight that suit a shelf, in a bookcase, on a desk, or as part of a small collection of animals, ceramics and Bornholm design. The compact size makes it easy to place, while the form gives it enough character to stand alone.

As a vintage ceramic figurine, this rabbit also contains that special charm that comes with things created to last. Choosing older ceramics is a beautiful way to bring history, quality and personality into the home, while good craftsmanship is given new life. The figurine is also well suited as a gift for collectors of Michael Andersen & Søn, for those who are fond of animal figurines, or for anyone who appreciates Danish ceramics with soul.
