Arne Ingdam ceramic monkey with raised arms figure

This ceramic figure of a monkey with raised arms has a lively and characterful expression that immediately catches the eye. The figure is modelled in an upright, almost playful posture, where the monkey sits on a small base with its arms bent up over its head. The face is open and expressive, and the distinctive hands, feet and facial features give the figure both personality and movement.

The colours appear in shades of brown, beige and darker blue-grey tones, which emphasize the figure's shape and details. The glazed surface gives depth to the fur and highlights the modelling around the face, arms and legs. It is precisely the kind of ceramic animal figure that adds warmth and humour to the décor, whether it is placed in a bookcase, a display cabinet or as a decorative feature on a chest of drawers or shelf.

When motif and form come together in a higher unity, you get a figure that can appeal to collectors of ceramics, monkey figures and Danish design-influenced applied art. The information about Arne Ingdam makes the figure extra interesting for those seeking ceramics with a named creator. It also works well as a gift idea for a collector or for you, who appreciate figures with a more narrative and human expression.
