Dahl Jensen boy with overalls and cap no. 1040

This porcelain figurine from Dahl Jensen depicts a boy in overalls and a cap, rendered with a calm and observant expression. The figurine has a fine everyday character, where the slightly forward-bent posture, the hands in the pockets and the slightly turned head give the motif life and personality. It is precisely this kind of child figure that makes classic Danish porcelain so charming to collect and decorate with.

The boy is dressed in light green overalls, a white blouse and a brownish cap, and the color scheme appears subdued and harmonious. The simple clothing and the natural posture give the figurine a grounded expression, which fits beautifully into both classic and more modern homes. As a porcelain figurine, it also has the glossy glaze and the soft shapes that characterize good figurine porcelain.

Dahl Jensen is known for figures with presence and human warmth, and no. 1040 is a good example of a child figure that says a lot with few means. The figurine is well suited for a display cabinet, shelf or a small arrangement with other porcelain figurines and collectibles. It can also be an obvious gift for collectors of Dahl Jensen figurines, Danish porcelain or child figures with a classic motif.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add history and personality to the home. When you choose vintage porcelain, you are also choosing a piece of craftsmanship that was created to be preserved and appreciated through generations. This makes the figurine a sustainable choice for you who appreciate design with soul and lasting value.
