Royal Copenhagen Boy December monthly figurine no. 4534

Royal Copenhagen monthly figurine no. 4534 depicts a boy in December and captures the calm, expectant atmosphere that belongs to the winter month. The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze and shows a boy in short blue trousers, a light top and a long cap, standing by a large sack filled with small objects. He looks upward with an open and lively expression, which gives the figurine character and presence.

The motif has a narrative quality that makes this child figurine more than just decoration. December is naturally associated with traditions, anticipation and cozy moments, and it is precisely that atmosphere that is finely captured here. The sack beside the boy adds a concrete and recognizable December touch to the figurine, while the blue and white shades provide the classic expression that many collectors and Royal Copenhagen connoisseurs are fond of.

Hans H. Hansen is behind the design, and the figurine fits beautifully into a collection of monthly figurines, child figurines or other porcelain figurines from Royal Copenhagen. It also works well on its own, where it can create personality in a bookshelf, a display cabinet or as part of a seasonal display during Christmastime and the winter months. It is design created to last and to be appreciated for many years, and that is precisely why vintage porcelain is also a beautiful choice for those who want to combine the joy of collecting, quality and sustainability.
