Royal Copenhagen Girl January month figurine no. 4523

Royal Copenhagen Girl January month figurine no. 4523 is a charming porcelain figurine that captures the quiet and cool mood of the winter month with great precision. The figurine depicts a girl in a blue coat and hat with a white trim, slightly bent forward and with her arms held close to her body, as if she is seeking shelter or warmth on a cold January day. This gives the figurine a lively and recognizable expression, which makes it especially lovely in a collection of month figurines or children's figurines in porcelain.

Hans H. Hansen has created a figurine with an eye for both movement and everyday poetry. The soft lines, the calm color scheme in the classic blue and white shades, and the natural posture give the porcelain figurine personality. The pictures also show a vertical support at the girl's side, which is discreetly integrated into the figurine's design language. It is precisely this type of detail that makes older Royal Copenhagen figurines sought after among collectors and lovers of Danish porcelain design.

As a month figurine, January fits naturally into a series display, where each month of the year gets its own motif and mood. The figurine can stand alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or on a small side table, where it adds a touch of classic Danish design history to the home. It is also an obvious gift idea for a collector, for someone born in January, or for someone who loves porcelain figurines with narrative and character.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special ability to bring history and soul into the interior. When you choose vintage and classic porcelain, you simultaneously choose quality and fine craftsmanship, created to be preserved and appreciated through generations. This makes the figurine a beautiful and sustainable alternative to new production.
