Royal Copenhagen Boy with apples October monthly figurine no. 4532

Royal Copenhagen monthly figurine no. 4532 depicts a boy with apples and bears the title October. The figurine captures a calm autumn atmosphere with its simple motif: a boy in blue overalls, a white shirt and dark shoes, while he carries a basket filled with apples. Beside him can be seen another small bucket with fruit, which emphasizes the harvest motif and gives the figurine a fine touch of everyday life and season.

It is a porcelain figurine with the classic narrative quality that many collectors associate with Royal Copenhagen. Hans H. Hansen has created a motif that appears both natural and lively, with a posture that gives the sense of movement and weight in the filled basket. The blue shades in the clothing stand beautifully against the light apples and the light base, and the underglaze gives the surface its characteristic depth and sheen.

As a monthly figurine, October has its own place in the series and appeals both to collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and to those who are fond of child figurines with narrative and seasonal character. It fits beautifully in a collection with other monthly figurines, but can also stand alone in the décor as a small porcelain figurine with warmth, nostalgia and Danish design history. Especially in the kitchen, display cabinet or on a shelf with decorative art it adds personality and a discreet touch of autumn.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to bring history and soul into the home. Choosing vintage Royal Copenhagen is at the same time a beautiful way to give classic craftsmanship new life. This makes the figurine ideal as a gift for collectors, for a birthday in October or for anyone who appreciates porcelain figurines with motif, atmosphere and lasting quality.
