Dahl Jensen Fox Terrier figurine no. 1077 seated 15 cm

This Dahl Jensen Fox Terrier figurine no. 1077 depicts the wire-haired terrier in a seated, attentive posture with raised foreleg and an alert gaze. The figurine has an upright stance and a lively appearance, which makes it a charming choice for both dog lovers and collectors of porcelain figurines. The characteristic beard shape, the small folded ears and the slender body make the breed easily recognizable.

Jens Peter Dahl Jensen was known for his lifelike animal figurines, and this is clearly seen here. The surface is modeled so that the coat gets structure and movement, and the glaze in light shades with grayish and brownish areas highlights the figurine's form in a calm and harmonious way. The seated Fox Terrier appears both focused and ready to spring, which gives the figurine personality without making the expression harsh.

As a vintage porcelain figurine, it also contains that special quality that older decorative art often has. It is a type of figurine that is made to last, and that still fits beautifully into a modern home. Use it in the display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection with dog figurines and other animal figurines in porcelain. It is also an obvious gift for a terrier owner or for someone who loves classic Danish porcelain with history and soul.

Model number 1077 is an important detail for collectors, because it makes the figurine easy to identify. At the same time, it is a decorative porcelain dog that stands beautifully on its own and adds a personal touch to the home. Choosing older quality figurines like this is also a lovely way to give fine craftsmanship new life and let beautiful objects continue to create joy through generations.
