Dahl Jensen Great Dane figurine no. 1128 - Jens Peter Dahl Jensen

Dahl Jensen figurine no. 1128 depicts a seated Great Dane in a calm and attentive moment. The slender body, the long legs and the characteristic head give the figurine a clear and lifelike expression, while the glossy glaze highlights the dog's upright posture and calm strength. The soft transitions in the glaze and the darker spots on the light body give the porcelain figurine life and depth, so that it looks beautiful from all angles.

This dog figurine is modelled by Jens Peter Dahl Jensen for Dahl Jensen and contains the sense of form for which Danish animal figurines are known and appreciated. The expression is both harmonious and precise, with fine details in the face, ears, paws and tail. It is a figurine that appeals to collectors of Danish porcelain, but also to dog lovers who want a decorative figurine with personality and character.

A Great Dane figurine like this fits beautifully in a display cabinet collection, on a shelf or as part of an arrangement with other animal figurines in porcelain. It is also an obvious gift idea for someone who is fond of classic Danish design and older quality objects with history. It is precisely vintage porcelain figurines like this that add warmth, soul and a sense of enduring craftsmanship to the home, while also being a beautiful choice for those who appreciate reuse and design created to last through generations.

With its calm motif and its thoroughly worked design language, Dahl Jensen Great Dane no. 1128 is a porcelain figurine that can both stand alone and naturally become part of a larger collection of dog figurines, animal figurines or Danish porcelain.
