Royal Copenhagen Great Dane figure no. 1679 Peter Herold 21 cm

Royal Copenhagen Great Dane figure no. 1679 is a striking dog figure in porcelain that unites calm, strength, and classic Danish design. The figure depicts a reclining Great Dane with raised head, erect ears, and an attentive expression, which gives it a vivid presence. The white glaze is decorated with dark spots that emphasize the dog's character and give the figure an eye-catching, graphic interplay.

The model is designed by Peter Herold and appears with the sure balance that has made Royal Copenhagen figures sought after among both dog lovers and collectors of Danish porcelain. The elongated, resting posture gives the figure a calm and harmonious expression, while the fine transitions in the body and the hand-painted details add depth and personality. It is a porcelain figure that works equally well as a decorative detail in the living room, on the shelf, or in the display cabinet.

For you who appreciate figures with history and character, this Great Dane is an obvious choice. Older porcelain figures like this bring soul into the interior and are at the same time a beautiful example of quality created to last for generations. It goes beautifully with other dog figures, classic Danish design, and collector's items in porcelain, but also stands strongly on its own as a gift idea for the dog friend or the collector who appreciates Royal Copenhagen and Peter Herold's animal figures.
