Dahl Jensen fallow deer figurine no. 1147 reclining 18 cm

Dahl Jensen figurine no. 1147 depicts a reclining fallow deer with a calm and attentive expression. The figurine is modelled with a raised head, long slender lines and fine details around the eyes, ears and legs, which give the motif life and presence. The soft glaze in light and warm brownish shades emphasises the animal's calm character and makes the figurine easy to place in an interior where classic Danish porcelain and animal figurines are allowed to play a natural role.

Jens Peter Dahl Jensen is known for his naturalistic animal figurines, and this is clearly seen here. The body shape is simple and harmonious, but at the same time full of movement in the small details: the slightly turned neck, the upright ears and the relaxed, folded position. It is precisely this balance between lifelike depiction and decorative form that has made Dahl Jensen figurines sought after among both collectors and those who appreciate Danish design with history.

As a porcelain figurine, this reclining fallow deer fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as a discreet detail on a sideboard or a side table. It is also an obvious gift idea for collectors of Dahl Jensen, for the nature-loving interior or for you who want a figurine with a classic expression and lasting quality. Older porcelain figurines like this carry a special calm and personality with them and are at the same time a beautiful choice for anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship and the joy of letting design with soul live on in the home.
