Dahl Jensen figurine girl with book no. 1332

This Dahl Jensen figurine captures a quiet and recognizable moment from childhood: a girl, deeply absorbed in her book, while drawing with a blue pencil. The motif exudes concentration, calm and everyday life, and it is precisely this narrative atmosphere that makes the figurine a charming collector's item for anyone who loves classic porcelain figurines with humanity and presence.

The girl sits bent forward with the book over her knees, completely absorbed in what she has in front of her. On the open pages simple drawings can be seen, and the figurine's posture brings the motif to life, as if one gets a small glimpse into a child's creative moment. The colors are subdued and harmonious with brownish hair, light blue top, white collar and a warm pink-brown skirt, which emphasizes the figurine's calm and timeless expression.

The figurine is made by Dahl Jensen and is connected to the tradition of Danish porcelain figurines, where everyday scenes, children and human moods were depicted with great sensitivity to form and character. The artist is Jens Peter Dahl Jensen, and model no. 1332 is a fine representative of the figurines that are still appreciated for their craftsmanship, their story and their place in Danish design history.

A figurine like this fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection of child figurines and other classic porcelain figurines. It is also ideal as a gift for collectors or for someone who appreciates vintage porcelain with soul and history. Choosing older quality figurines like this is at the same time a way to preserve good craftsmanship and let beautiful objects live on in new homes.

The current text refers to the figurine as "Ellen" with book, and the motif matches well with this close, personal characterization. Here you get a Dahl Jensen figurine, where both motif and model number make it easily recognizable to collectors.
