Dahl Jensen porcelain figurine Bird on nest DJ1349 13 cm

Dahl Jensen porcelain figurine with the motif bird on nest is a lively and narrative figurine, where movement and presence go hand in hand. Here the mother bird stands upright over the nest with her wings raised wide out, while the small chicks stretch their heads up towards her. The motif is full of life, and precisely that scene makes the figurine an atmospheric choice for you who are fond of classic bird figurines, Danish porcelain and older design with character.

Jens Peter Dahl Jensen is known for his bird and animal figurines, and that is clearly felt in this model. The figurine is made with fine details in both plumage, nest and the chicks' open beaks. The soft glaze tones in grey, brownish, bluish and green shades give the figurine depth and make it interesting to look at from all sides. The woven nest and the bird's outstretched wings create a beautiful whole, which makes the porcelain figurine decorative both in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection of Danish bird figurines.

As an older porcelain figurine, this Dahl Jensen figurine also holds the special joy that lies in choosing design with history and lasting quality. It fits well into a home where decorative art and collectors' items are welcome to have soul, and at the same time it is an obvious gift idea for collectors of porcelain figurines, bird motifs and Danish craftsmanship. The model number DJ1349 is important for collectors and makes it easy to identify the figurine among other Dahl Jensen bird figurines.
