Porcelain figurine girl with kitten - hand-decorated

This porcelain figurine with girl and kitten contains a light and everyday story, which makes it easy to love. The motif shows a relaxed girl sitting with her legs stretched out in front and her arms stretched over her head, while a small kitten plays close to her dress. The figurine radiates calm, warmth and the quiet companionship between child and animal, which many will associate with security and a homely atmosphere.

The expression is soft and lively with fine, hand-decorated details. The girl has light hair arranged in small braids, and the light dress is decorated with pink edges and discreet blue and light green fields along the skirt. The kitten is modelled in a playful pose, which adds movement and charm to the figurine. The combination of the calm sitting position and the lively kitten gives the porcelain figurine a fine interplay that makes it decorative from several angles.

The figurine is designed and produced for Danish Porcelain House as part of a series of expressive porcelain figurines. Here the focus is on atmosphere, feeling and recognisable motifs, and this child figurine with cat fits beautifully into an interior where one wants personal details with a gentle and human expression. It can be placed on a shelf, a display cabinet, a chest of drawers or as part of a larger collection of figurines and decorative art.

For many, a porcelain figurine with child and cat will also be an obvious gift idea for a cat lover or for someone who is fond of classic figurines with a story. It works both alone and together with other child figurines, animal figurines or hand-decorated porcelain, where it adds a warm and cosy atmosphere.
