Royal Copenhagen rooster and hen figurine no. 1094 by Christian Thomsen

This Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 1094 brings together rooster and hen in a lively and characterful composition, where movement and calm meet in the finest way. The rooster stands proud and attentive with a handsome tail carriage and pronounced comb, while the hen bends down toward the ground in a natural, everyday posture. Together they create a bird figurine with plenty of presence, which looks beautiful in both classic and modern homes.

The porcelain figurine is made with the sure eye for animals that Christian Thomsen is known for. The soft transitions in the glaze and the subdued shades of grey, white and warm brownish tones give the figurine depth and life. In the pictures, fine details can be seen in both the plumage, tail, comb and the small lifelike base, which emphasizes the motif's rural atmosphere and makes the figurine decorative from several angles.

As a Royal Copenhagen figurine, this model has both decorative value and appeal to collectors of Danish porcelain figurines, bird figurines and animal figurines. The rooster and hen motif adds personality to the home and fits well on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a larger collection of classic Danish porcelain. It is also a gift idea for someone who is fond of Danish design, nature motifs and figurines with history and craftsmanship weight.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they are created to last and to be appreciated through generations. Precisely for that reason, a vintage Royal Copenhagen figurine is also a beautiful choice for you who want interior decoration with soul and a more conscious alternative to new production.
