Royal Copenhagen bear figurine 2841 Knud Kyhn 15 cm

Royal Copenhagen bear figurine no. 2841 is a striking animal figurine with the calm strength and the close sense of nature that characterize Knud Kyhn's work. The figurine shows a bear in motion with a lowered head, broad body and distinct heaviness in the posture. The expression is concentrated and vivid, and it is precisely that combination that makes this porcelain figurine sought after among both collectors of Royal Copenhagen and those of you who are looking for a classic bear figurine with character.

Knud Kyhn is especially known for his animal figurines, where form and movement go hand in hand. Here the bear is modeled with soft transitions, powerful shoulders and marked paws, which give the figurine a natural and earthy appearance. The brown underglaze plays beautifully across the surface and creates variation in the tone, so the figurine changes expression according to the light. This gives the porcelain bear depth and makes it interesting to look at from several angles.

As a Royal Copenhagen figurine, this bear fits nicely in both a display cabinet, bookcase and on a smaller table, where it can stand alone or be included together with other animal figurines in porcelain. It is also ideal as a gift for a collector, for a lover of Danish design or for someone who is fond of decorative figurines with a strong design language. With its compact format of 15 cm in width, it is easy to place, but at the same time it has a presence that makes it noticeable.

A figurine like this speaks to the enduring interest in Danish porcelain, Knud Kyhn figurines and Royal Copenhagen animal figurines. It combines artistic modeling, classic underglaze and a motif that still feels present in modern interior design.
