Royal Copenhagen Giraffe figurine no. 3655 by Holger Christensen

Royal Copenhagen giraffe figurine no. 3655 is a porcelain figurine with a calm and attentive expression. The tall, slender giraffe is modeled standing with an upright neck and a slightly turned head, which gives the figurine both character and movement. The warm giraffe pattern in underglaze stands beautifully against the light areas, and the decorative base with leaves adds depth and a natural frame to the motif.

Holger Christensen has created an animal figurine where proportions and details work finely together. The long neck, the slender legs, and the calm posture make the figurine striking in the interior, while the hand-painted areas give the surface life. The combination of the naturalistic motif and Royal Copenhagen's classic porcelain tradition makes this figurine an obvious choice for collectors of porcelain figurines, animal figurines, and older Danish design.

As a decorative figurine, the giraffe fits well on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection with other Royal Copenhagen figurines. It can stand alone as an eye-catching element or be combined with other animals and nature motifs for a more personal expression. For many, older porcelain figurines are something special precisely because they unite fine craftsmanship, history, and the joy of giving classic quality objects new life in the home.

This Royal Copenhagen figurine is also an obvious gift idea for collectors or for someone who is fond of animals, porcelain, and Danish design history. It is a figurine with both height, thematic strength, and an expression that attracts attention without seeming heavy.
