Royal Copenhagen Basset Hound dog figurine 4616 Jeanne Grut 12 cm

Royal Copenhagen Basset Hound figurine no. 4616 is a porcelain figurine with a calm and present expression, making it a beautiful choice for collectors of dog figurines and classic Danish porcelain. The figurine is designed by Jeanne Grut, who is known for capturing the animals' character with great confidence. Here, the basset hound's long ears, low body and calm posture are rendered in a natural and harmonious form, which gives the figurine both weight and personality.

The glossy underglaze highlights the soft lines and the warm brown-and-white areas that suit the breed's characteristic appearance. From all angles, fine details can be seen in the head, paws and back, and the seated position gives the figurine a balanced and credible expression. It is precisely the type of Royal Copenhagen dog figurine that adds both warmth and a story to a bookshelf, display cabinet or sideboard.

For dog lovers, this is a figurine that speaks directly to the joy of the breed's distinctive character. For collectors, model number 4616 is an important detail, and for the interior enthusiast, it is a porcelain figurine that works beautifully both alone and together with other animal figurines in classic Danish design. It is also an obvious gift for a basset hound owner or for someone who is fond of Royal Copenhagen figurines with motifs from the animal world.

Jeanne Grut's animal figurines have a special ability to unite lifelike observation with decorative calm. Therefore, this basset hound is not merely a dog figurine in porcelain, but also a piece of design that creates atmosphere and gives the home a personal touch.
