Royal Copenhagen Standing Jersey cow figurine 4678 Jeanne Grut

Royal Copenhagen figurine 4678 depicts a standing Jersey cow with a calm, lifelike expression and a fine balance between simplicity and character. The figurine is modelled with an eye for the breed's distinctive characteristics, and the calm posture gives the motif presence and an almost rural narrative that fits beautifully into both classic and modern collections of porcelain figurines.

Jeanne Grut has created a cow figurine in which form and proportions are allowed to speak clearly. The body is modelled with soft transitions, while the head, legs, udder and tail are rendered with confident details that emphasise the figurine's realistic expression. The discreet underglaze decoration helps give the figurine depth and a vivid touch that particularly suits Royal Copenhagen's animal figurines.

This porcelain figurine is an obvious choice for collectors of Royal Copenhagen, for those who are fond of farm animal figurines, or as a personal gift for someone interested in agriculture, a cow lover or a porcelain collector. Older figurines like this have a special charm because they unite solid craftsmanship, Danish design history and the joy of preserving beautiful quality objects through generations. In the interior, it works well alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or together with other animal figurines in porcelain, where it adds warmth, history and personality.
