Royal Copenhagen squirrel figurine no. 982 by A. Nielsen

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 982 depicts a squirrel in a calm and characterful pose, where it sits upright with its front paws gathered around a small nut. The large, curved tail rises distinctly behind the body and gives the figurine a beautiful silhouette, which makes it decorative from several angles. The glaze is in soft grey shades that emphasize the animal's shapes and give the porcelain figurine a lively, classic expression.

This porcelain figurine is designed by A. Nielsen and executed in underglaze, which helps give the surface depth and a fine, durable finish. The motif is simple and recognizable, but at the same time modeled with an eye for movement and personality. It is precisely that balance that makes Royal Copenhagen animal figurines so sought after among both collectors and those who want a piece of Danish design with presence and history.

A squirrel like this fits beautifully on the windowsill, on a shelf, or as part of a collection of animal figurines in porcelain. The figurine adds a quiet nature motif to the home and also works well as a gift for a collector or for someone who is fond of classic Danish porcelain. Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they are created to last and can still bring joy in modern interior design. That also makes them a sustainable choice when one wants quality with history and soul.

For you who are searching for Royal Copenhagen squirrel, porcelain figurine with squirrel or figurine no. 982, this is a model with a clear and timeless design language. It combines collector's value with decorative use and is a fine example of how a small animal figurine can create personality in the room.
