Bing & Grøndahl rabbit group figure 434 or 1875 Niels Nielsen

This rabbit group from Bing & Grøndahl is a porcelain figure with a calm and natural expression, making it easy to place in the home. The motif shows two rabbits gathered closely together in a resting position, modeled with soft shapes and a fine balance between simplicity and character. The light glaze and the discreet details around the eyes, ears and paws emphasize the figure's quiet charm and make it suitable as a classic Danish animal figure.

The figure is designed by Niels Nielsen, who is known for his lively and observant animal motifs. Here the expression is understated and credible, with focus on the animals' body language rather than decorative effects. This gives the figure a special intimacy, which suits both a classic and a more contemporary interior. It works beautifully alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection of Bing & Grøndahl figures and other porcelain animals.

For collectors, figure no. 434 / 1875 is an interesting model because it combines the popular rabbit motif with the Danish tradition of well-turned animal figures in porcelain. At the same time, it is a decorative object that still has its place in a modern home. Older porcelain figures like this carry history and craftsmanship with them, and that is precisely why they are an obvious choice for those who appreciate design with soul and wish to give beautiful quality objects new life.

The rabbit group is also an obvious gift idea for collectors, for those who are fond of animals in arts and crafts, or for anyone who wants a small piece of Danish porcelain history with a calm and warm expression.
