2025 Royal Copenhagen memorial plate
Royal Copenhagen Anniversary Plate 2025, issued to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Royal Copenhagen. The design on the plate is inspired by the commemorative plate released in 1975 for the 200th anniversary. The motif depicts a porcelain painter in silhouette, painting a vase. In the background, the large royal crown with the three waves, symbolizing Royal Copenhagen's hallmark, is visible.
The silhouette of the porcelain painter is based on a paper cut from 1927 by the artist Else Hasselriis, who was employed at Royal Copenhagen from 1904 to 1949.
