1944 Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate, designed by Viggo Olsen, has as its title Snowcovered landscape with church. This plate has the French Noel as text. Royal Copenhagen's Christmas plate from 1944 depicts a typically Danish village- winter landscape with a pollarded willow in the foregraund and with a thatched farm- house and a village church in the back- ground. The border of the plate shows the cones and ribbons, that became the standard border of the plates in 1941.
