About the product
Sigismund born 20th June 1566 in the prison on Gripsholm. Son of Johan III and his first wife Katarina Jagellonica of Poland. King of Poland i 1587 and Sweden 1592. Defeated by his uncle Hertig Karl at Stångebro outside Linköping 1598 and fled to Poland. Dethroned by the parliament in Stockholm in 1599. Buried at the castle Wawel in Krakow. Motto: For justice and the people. The heart of the king is in the Lords hand.
