Gustav Vasa born 12th May 1496 as son of Erik Johansson (Vasa) and Cecilia Månsdotter. Elected king 6th June 1523. Crowned in Uppsala 1528. Died 29. september 1560. Buried in Uppsala Cathedral. Married to Katarina of Sachsen-Lauenburg, Margareta Leijonhufvud and Katarina Steinbock. Father to Erik XIV, Johan III and Karl IX. Motto: God's is the power. Blessed be the one that fears the Lord.
