Rorstrand Christmas plate 1970
Since 1970, the motives of the Christmas plates from Rörstrand are inspired by Selma Lagerlöf's book "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils" telling about Nils Holgersson's wonderful journey across Sweden. The motif of this first plate in the series is from Skaane and depicts the beginning of the journey. Along the edge of the plate, there is a border with Skaane's landscape flower, "Prästkragen". In the foreground, Nils and his geese are depicted, and in the background, there is a snow-covered mill and church.
Rörstrand's Christmas plates are made using underglaze and are suitable for serving food.
