In the middle of the plate, the Christmas rose rises in a dense, upright bouquet with dark blue flowers, green leaves and buds that have not yet fully opened. The deep blue background gives the motif an almost wintry calm, while the warm yellow-orange flower centers create a beautiful contrast and add light and life to the image.

On this small Aluminia Christmas plate, the text JUL and the year 1916 are a natural part of the decoration, elegantly placed in the white band at the bottom of the motif. This gives the plate a decorative and very distinctive expression, where lettering, colors and floral ornamentation merge together.
