Royal Copenhagen figurine Girl on stone no. 4027 Adda Bonfils

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 4027, "Girl on stone", is a porcelain figurine with a calm and thoughtful expression. The motif shows a young girl sitting naked on a stone with her head bowed and legs drawn together. The quiet pose gives the figurine an almost poetic mood, where gaze, posture and the balance between human and nature are allowed to speak for themselves.

The design is created by Adda Bonfils, and the figurine bears her sure sense of soft lines and natural movement. The light porcelain body stands beautifully against the darker stone in blue-grey shades, while the hair is modelled in a muted grey tone. Together, this creates a harmonious play of colours that is easy to place in both classic and modern homes.

As a Royal Copenhagen figurine, "Girl on stone" has the characteristic combination of fine craftsmanship and timeless design language that makes porcelain figurines from the manufactory sought after among both collectors and those who want a personal feature in the interior. The figurine works beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet or on a small table, where its calm expression has space. It can also be combined with other porcelain figurines to create a collection with character and history.

This porcelain figurine is well suited to those who are fond of Danish figurines, arts and crafts, and classic design with human presence. The motif has a simplicity that makes it relatable, and precisely for that reason it is also an obvious gift idea for a collector or for someone who appreciates Royal Copenhagen and figurines by Adda Bonfils.
