Royal Copenhagen West Highland White Terrier with slipper no. 3476 or 145

Royal Copenhagen dog figurine no. 3476/145 depicts a West Highland White Terrier in the middle of a lively moment with a slipper in its mouth. The motif has plenty of personality, and the characteristic terrier is modeled in a low, stretched posture, with the tail raised while the head is bent down toward the slipper. This gives the figurine both movement and a fine glimpse of the dog's curious and playful temperament.

The white dog figurine is made with soft, modeled fur details and a glossy glaze, which emphasizes the shape of the body and gives the porcelain a lively expression. The green slipper creates a decorative contrast to the white figurine and makes the motif easily recognizable for collectors of Royal Copenhagen animal figurines. Here you get a porcelain figurine that contains both humor, warmth, and classic Danish figurative art.

The figurine is designed by Adda Bonfils for Royal Copenhagen and is among the sought-after dog figurines that many collectors keep a particularly close eye on. The West Highland White Terrier motif appeals both to dog lovers and to those who collect porcelain figurines with animals. It works beautifully in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or as a personal gift for someone who loves terriers, Danish design, and figurines with a story.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a very special charm because they bring both history and craftsmanship into the home. It is precisely the type of object that can gain new life in a modern interior and add personality without becoming random. A Royal Copenhagen figurine like this is therefore also a fine choice for anyone who appreciates design with longevity and the joy of preserving classic quality objects.
