Royal Copenhagen Boxer dog figurine no. 748 Allan Therkelsen

Royal Copenhagen boxer dog figurine no. 748 is a charming porcelain figurine with lots of personality. The figurine depicts a small boxer puppy lying relaxed with one leg between its front paws, and it is precisely this calm, playful pose that gives it a vivid and present expression. It is a dog figurine that appeals both to collectors of Royal Copenhagen and to dog lovers who appreciate figurines with warmth and character.

Allan Therkelsen has modelled the boxer puppy with a fine eye for the breed's expression. In the pictures, it appears in soft, light shades with darker tones on the muzzle and ears, which emphasises the figurine's calm appearance. The smooth porcelain surface and the underglaze decoration give a clean and classic expression that suits the motif and makes the figurine easy to place in the home. It works beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a small decorative detail on a desk, bookcase, or chest of drawers.

The figurine belongs to Royal Copenhagen's series of mini dogs and is part of a collection of 12 puppies. For that very reason, it also has a special appeal for collectors who wish to find the individual breeds and collect the series over time. At the same time, it is an obvious choice as a gift for a boxer owner, for the porcelain enthusiast, or for anyone who appreciates Danish design with humour, heart, and fine craftsmanship.

Older porcelain figurines like this one often have a special ability to add soul and personality to the home. Here, you get a decorative dog figurine with history, which still fits naturally into a contemporary interior while also being a beautiful example of the joy of preserving quality design created to last.
